About the Role: Associate, Data Management
As an Associate in Data Management, you will work closely with Biorasi’s clinical data sciences team, ensuring data accuracy and helping maintain compliance with industry standards. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in handling clinical data, using advanced systems, and supporting critical research activities. Associate, Data Management at Biorasi
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as an Associate in Data Management include:
- Data Cleaning & EDC Query Handling: Perform data cleaning tasks and handle queries within Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems. You’ll issue and resolve queries under the guidance of experienced team members.
- Data Management Plan Development: Collaborate in creating data management tables, validation plans, and data management plans essential for clinical data processes.
- User Access Management: Oversee user access to study systems while ensuring compliance with 21 CFR 11 regulations.
- Responding to Help Desk Requests: Support help desk requests from study sites and sponsors, assisting in issue resolution.
- Database Validation & Testing: Contribute to database validation processes, user acceptance testing (UAT), and preparation of completion guidelines for case report forms (CRF).
- Participation in Meetings: Attend internal team meetings as well as sponsor meetings, document discussions, and prepare minutes for relevant stakeholders.
- Report Preparation & Document Management: Assist in generating clinical data reports and organizing study documentation.
- Vendor Data Management: Take part in managing vendor data and other project management activities to streamline operations.
Qualifications for Success
Candidates for this role should meet the following qualifications:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a scientific field, life sciences, or an IT-related discipline. Additional qualifications, such as an advanced degree or diploma in Clinical Data Management (CDM), are a plus.
- Experience: 0-1 years of experience in data management, clinical trials, or database administration.
- Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in English: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer Literacy: Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong focus on data accuracy and the ability to identify inconsistencies.
