Role and Responsibilities
As a Regulatory Affairs Associate at Colgate-Palmolive in Mumbai, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our products meet regulatory compliance throughout their lifecycle. - Product Registration and Compliance:
- Collaborate with the regional team for new product registrations, renewals, and lifecycle management.
- Track and support global regulatory strategies, ensuring timely preparation of regulatory dossiers.
- Prepare high-quality submissions for regulatory bodies, handle product renewals, and maintain product registration dossiers.
- Address queries from regulatory authorities promptly to ensure continued product compliance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Communicate and coordinate with global, European, and third-party stakeholders to obtain necessary documents for regulatory submissions.
- Maintain and update databases and tracking tools for product registration details and ingredient archives.
- Assist in preparing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed.
- Documentation and Market Readiness:
- Oversee artwork approvals, preparing ingredient lists, and reviewing and approving product labels.
- Monitor industry news, regulatory websites, and competitor activities to keep the company informed of current trends and compliance needs.
- Support documentation processes for market-ready products, including cosmetics and home care items.
- Regulatory Assessments and Strategy Support:
- Deliver comprehensive regulatory assessments in collaboration with the Regional Regulatory team.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in regulatory affairs, quality assurance, or product development, ideally in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or FMCG sectors.
- Understanding of registration and regulatory requirements, especially for Europe and North America.
- Proficiency in regulatory software (e.g., eCTD) and databases, with strong computer skills in Google Suite, MS Office, SAP, and Adobe Acrobat.
