About the Project
The ICMR-INPF Project is about Interstitial Lung Diseases (ILDs), a set of lung diseases that involve the interstitium. The present study aims to establish a National ILD Registry that can provide important data on the prevalence, likely etiologies, and quality-of-life impacts of ILD in India. The accuracy and relevance of this data would be ensured through multidisciplinary validation by multiple groups, making it an invaluable source for public health and policy initiatives related to respiratory diseases in India. Important Jobs and Responsibilities
In your capacity as the Project Research Scientist, a role which you will consider instrumental in furthering and executing the project, with responsibility for:
- Study Protocol understanding: To get a lot of insight into the stated goals, the methodology which would be applied, as well as what is most likely to come out of doing this study.
- Patient Recruitment and Consent: Supporting the recruitment process. Make sure all patients understand the study and assist them with informed consent.
- Data Collection: Patient interview by using a structured proforma, collection of relevant data, and keeping CRF/eCRF records.
- Radiological and Follow-Up Coordination: Coordination of radiological investigations and follow-up schedules, reminder calls, and follow-up data collection.
- Coordination with multidisciplinary teams. It has to coordinate closely with the nodal centers and co-investigators in radiology, immunology, and pathology to obtain the integrated data smoothly.
- Documentation Management Institutional Ethics Committee and regulatory submission documents need to be properly managed with all the formalities, and proper paperwork must be followed with reference to the guidelines from institutions and the projects concerned.
