Position Details:
- Role: Preclinical Specialist
- Organization: Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories
- Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India
- Salary: 17.6 Lakhs per year
- Qualification: M.Pharm, M.Sc, Ph.D, M.V.Sc
- Experience: 8-12 years
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed reviews of regulatory and published databases.
- Design and oversee in vitro/in vivo toxicity studies.
- Provide inputs on toxicity sections in regulatory submissions.
- Review drug literature and provide safety-related data.
- Conduct Toxicological Risk assessments.
- Derive regulatory standards and handle nitrosamine impurities.
- Proficiency in standard software and laboratory calculations.
- Preparation and/or review of functional SOPs.
Qualifications:

| M.V.Sc (Pharmacology & Toxicology) or M.Sc/M.Pharm/Ph.D (Toxicology) | 8-12 years |
Mandatory Skills:
- Knowledge of ADMET, PK/PD, Acute & Subacute toxicity studies.
- Experience in rodent/non-rodent toxicology, Histopathology, Genetic toxicology.
- Strong working knowledge of PK/PD, ADME, GLP/GXP practices.
- Basic understanding of national & international regulatory guidelines.
- Excellent communication/presentation skills.
Additional Information:
- DABT certification and medicinal chemistry knowledge are added advantages.
