Key Responsibilities
Assisting in Formulation Development
As a trainee, you will work under the supervision of senior researchers and managers to assist in developing new pharmaceutical formulations. You’ll gain exposure to real-world projects, helping to bring innovative healthcare solutions to the market.
Conducting Literature Research
You’ll conduct research on APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients), patents, excipients, and emerging technologies to inform formulation strategies and decision-making. This will enhance your knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape.
Characterization & Strategy Planning
You will participate in SBOA (Science-Based Optimization Approach) reviews, helping to analyze innovator products and contribute to strategy planning for effective formulation development.
QTPP & CQA Assessments
As part of the formulation team, you’ll assist in evaluating Quality Target Product Profiles (QTPP) and Critical Quality Attributes (CQA) to ensure that formulation goals are met and product quality is maintained.
Lab Trials & Stability Batches

QbD & DoE Methodologies

Documentation & Validation
In this role, you’ll also be responsible for preparing essential documentation, including:
- Study protocols
- Stability reports
- Master Formula Records (MFR)
- Scale-up documents

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Qualification: M. Pharm degree (Freshers are encouraged to apply)
- Knowledge Areas:
- Basic understanding of APIs, QTPP, and CQA
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical research and literature search
- Knowledge of QbD and DoE for product optimization
- Basic understanding of lab trials and stability testing
- Technical Skills:
- Ability to conduct research and compile technical reports
- Understanding of formulation strategies and pharmaceutical processes
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
