Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Chemical Synthesis:
- Synthesize, purify, and characterize chemical intermediates.
- Deliver small to large quantities of novel chemical entities for drug discovery.
- Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively in a team to drive chemistry projects forward.
Qualifications
- Education:
- M.Sc. in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry or a related field.
- M. Pharma (Specialized in Organic Synthesis).
- Experience:
- 0-1 years of project experience.
Technical and Functional Skills
- Organic Chemistry:
- Excellent knowledge of basic organic chemistry and mechanisms.
- Good knowledge of Name Reactions and functional group transformations.
- Practical Skills:
- Understanding of molarity, normality, and equivalency.
- Practical experience in thin-layer chromatography, column purification, and extraction.
- Analytical Techniques:
- Good understanding of NMR, IR, and mass spectrometry.
Behavioral Skills
- Safety and Adaptability:
- Interest in adapting and knowledge of laboratory safety practices.
- Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic research environment.
- Communication:
- Good soft and scientific communication skills.
- Computer Skills:
- Basic knowledge of MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chemdraw.
