Key Responsibilities
As a Research Associate in the FRD (Injectables) division, you will be responsible for various tasks throughout the product development lifecycle:
1. Formulation Development & Analysis
- Literature Research: Conduct literature surveys and compile findings to support project development.
- Pre-formulation Studies: Execute pre-formulation and innovator product characterization.
- Product Development: Plan, procure, and conduct development activities for injectable dosage forms.
- Sample Management: Coordinate sample submissions for analytical testing and manage data receipt.

2. Documentation & Quality Control
- Protocol Preparation: Draft study protocols, reports, and compile analytical data.
- External Studies: Monitor external lab studies, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Stability Testing: Prepare protocols for stability studies as per regulatory guidelines.
3. Process Optimization & Tech-Transfer
- Optimization Studies: Conduct formula and process optimization studies for dosage forms.
- Tech-Transfer: Support technology transfer and process validation at the manufacturing plant.
4. Equipment Management & Audits
- Equipment Coordination: Work with vendors and engineers for equipment installation, calibration, and maintenance.
- Lab Instruments: Perform calibrations and manage lab instrument upkeep.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal audits, training, and follow departmental SOPs.
5. Procurement & Project Reporting
- Materials Procurement: Manage procurement of APIs, raw materials, and packaging for development batches.
- Task Management: Report daily activities to the manager and support additional assignments as required.
