Job Description:
As a Software Engineer in our Global Risk and Compliance Technology organization, you’ll shape our technology and product roadmap. You’ll work on platform modernization, leveraging the latest tech stacks to meet business and global regulatory requirements. Your role involves designing and developing applications, managing projects, and taking business specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- 2 to 5 years of experience
- GCP professional certification – Data Engineer
- Expertise in Google BigQuery for data warehousing
- Knowledge of Big Data (Spark Core, Hive) is advantageous
- Familiarity with GCP offerings and experience building data pipelines on GCP is a plus
- Understanding of Hadoop Architecture, MapReduce, HBase
- UNIX shell scripting experience is beneficial
- Creative problem-solving skills
