Key Responsibilities
As a Medical Biller AR Follow-up Analyst, you will play a critical role in maximizing insurance reimbursements and resolving claims issues. Here’s what your daily responsibilities will include:
- Insurance Claim Follow-up: Follow up on unpaid, underpaid, or delayed claims with US-based insurance carriers.
- Root Cause Analysis & Appeals: Identify the causes of claim denials or underpayments and initiate the appeal process.
- Collaborating with US Healthcare Providers: Work closely with healthcare practice owners to correct any missing or incorrect claim data.
- Claim Processing: Ensure claims follow the correct ICD-10, CPT, HCPC codes and comply with CMS-1500 and UB-04 claim formats.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience: A minimum of 6 months of experience working in US-based AR follow-up and payment posting.
- Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of the US medical insurance system, claims processing cycle, and experience with ICD-10, CPT, HCPC codes, and CMS-1500 & UB-04 formats.
- Software Skills: Prior experience using Vericle software is a must.
